I slept soundly last night...

...I had dreams of driving a car in the dark; the brakes didn't work and I couldn't find the switch for the headlights. The night in front of me was pitch black, yet I kept on driving. Eventually morning came and I found the switch for the headlight, which was far to the left of the dash, far out of the field in which I was searching. That dream seems political in nature and I feel like we are all driving in the dark until morning comes. By the way, when morning came, life was far more shabby than when the night began. The roads were potholed and torn up, the homes were in disrepair, the yards nothing but mud holes. Things were a mess but at least morning had come and I had found the lights on the dashboard.

I think it is a good time to stock up on those spices you use heavily ...

I often go to the Asian food store to buy spices in bulk. I'm sure we will see huge inflation on these items after Jan 21, if not before. I know TSF's last trade war resulted in super inflated prices at the Asian store.

My family and I are looking for Alternatives to Amazon this year.

Every time I think of buying from Amazon, my mind starts talking about "Bone Saw Bezos" and I just can't in good conscience use the service anymore. I needed some pint sized freezer containers that I always buy at Amazon, but I was delighted to find them for a reasonable price at Walmart--free shipping too! We've been compiling lists of retail alternatives to Amazon and are using the Giftster app this year instead of Amazon wish lists. I admit, my bandwidth for politics as almost non-existent...

...and I know I sound lazy, but I don't want to forget to check on this. Does anyone see similarity between the swing states in the 2024 election and the 2016 election results? I'm trying to remember...Florida came in early enough in 2016 that I knew something was wrong. I was hosting a watch party last Tuesday night and I remember being shocked when one of my friends pointed out that they'd already called Florida. That sinking feeling...then it became deeper and deeper as the night wore on--very similar to 2016. Has anyone compared the way the calls rolled in during the 2016 and 2024 results. I'm sorry...I just can't focus right now.

Where is he now?

Kamala Harris is just finishing up her campaign at 11ish tonight in Philadelphia. Time Walz is in Detroit. I was just wondering where TFG is...has he flown the coop yet? I don't expect to see him any time soon. He knows he's lost. He knows he is due to being sentenced in NY soon. I don't think he'll stick around to find out what his sentence is.
